    The PVC electric Heating Wire is an electric heating wire which is bound with a resistance alloy wire on the glass fiber core wire as a Heating Element and is covered with a soft insulating PVC material on the outer layer.

     

    Classification of PVC Heating Wire

      

    1. PSPVC heating wire: polystyrene (PS)-resistant PVC is used as the outer insulation material of the electric heating wire. The nontoxic and non-corrosive polystyrene is suitable for refrigerators and conditions where the heating element may come into contact with food. However, its high temperature resistance performance is poor, and the long-term temperature control is within -25~60 ° C. Therefore, it can only be used in low-power heating applications in which the power density does not exceed 8W/m.
      2. 105 °C PVC electric heating wire: covered with flame retardant PVC Insulating Material, it can withstand a high temperature of 105 °C. It is commonly used as an electric heating wire. The power density is generally not more than 12 W/m, and the long-term temperature control is within -25~70 °C. It is widely used in the compensation heating of refrigerators and freezers, medical and healthcare equipment, and for heating and insulation of daily necessities.

    Ways to Connect PVC Heating Cable

    • 1. the connection between the heating cable and the lead-out cold end (lead-out wire) is sealed with a high-frequency heat-Sealing tube.
    • 2. the connection between the heating wire and the lead-out cold end (lead-out wire) is sealed with heat shrink tubing.
    • 3. The connection between the heating wire and the lead-out cold end (lead-out wire) has the same diameter as the wire. The heating and cold ends are marked with color codes. Its advantage is that the joint has the same diameter as the wire, and the structure is simple.
