    The core material of self regulating heating cable is PTC semi-conductive plastic. Its resistance value increases with the increase of temperature, but when the temperature rises to a certain value, the resistance suddenly increases sharply, thereby blocking the current and stopping heating; when the temperature is lower than the threshold temperature, the resistance of the PTC material automatically decreases to conduct the current, continue heating. This keeps the system within a stable temperature range.

    The self regulating heating cable can be divided into three series: low temperature, medium temperature and high temperature according to the temperature characteristics.
